Energy Issues Discussed

A wide range of energy literate people came together in Fort St. John yesterday. Participants included were from all levels of government, First Nations, the renewable energy sector and oil and gas industries. The purpose was to come up with better ways on how to share information and inform British Columbians on energy issues. This was the first MLA Energy Literacy Roundtable, hosted by Peace River North MLA Dan Davies. Discussions were productive, resulting in the group to meet again soon. Davies says he hosted this roundtable in order to “do our part to help the public, decision-makers and energy companies [to] figure out how to share the best information possible in the most impactful way.”
