Man Charged In Drug Investigation

PRINCE GEORGE — The Federal Crown Counsel has approved charges in relation to a drug investigation that took place last October. 37-year-old local man, Kenneth Daniel Kirkpatrick has been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by a crime over $5000, unauthorized possession of a non-restricted firearm and careless use of a firearm. He was arrested yesterday on an unrelated matter and his first court appearance is scheduled for today.

Back on October 11, 2017, police executed search warrants on two homes, one on the 1600 block of Harper Drive and the other at a residence on Mullet Crescent. From the two homes, officers had seized 507 grams of methamphetamine, 243 grams of fentanyl, 395 grams of heroin and fentanyl combined, 109 grams of cocaine, a loaded shotgun, a vehicle and a large amount of cash.
