PRINCE GEORGE — During his visit to the city last week, Premier John Horgan announced plans for a new trade mission to Asia. Premier John Horgan was the luncheon keynote speaker on the first full day of the Forum. He spoke to the crowd about the need for innovation in light of some tough times in the resource sector, especially forestry. But he was upbeat in his remarks, commenting on the resiliency of BC’s resource sector. He also spoke of another trade mission to Asia coming up, and the need to build on efforts to date to diversify the markets for BC products.
