Local Outdoorsman and Storyteller Dies

Our region has lost one of its most popular historic outdoor authors. Jack Boudreau passed away last week at the age of 84. He was known for his stories of pioneer living in Northern BC’s backwoods. The first book he wrote, Crazy Man’s Creek, became number one on the province’s bestseller list for non-fiction.  Jack Boudreau died in Pincher Creek, Alberta surround by family. A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, February 3rd, 2 pm at Vanier Hall.
