Single Lane, Alternating Traffic On Highway 97 South

QUESNEL – A fatal vehicle incident occurred this morning on Highway 97 south near Dunkley Lumber. The highway is closed in both directions.
It happened just after 8 am where two logging trucks collided head-on with each other.
One person has died at the scene.
Police say there are no other details at this time. A detour has not been made available yet.
UPDATE
According to DriveBC, the highway is open to a single lane of alternating traffic this afternoon.
