Lawn Burning is Prohibited in the City

Prince George – According to the City of Prince George Bylaws. No person shall conduct open burning at any time within the city. So far this spring Prince George Fire Rescue responded to nine small wildland fires across the city. Fire Department would like to remind residents that no burning is allowed within the city except for recreational fires contained in a 2 feet by 2 feet fire pit.
