UPDATE: Hwy 97 Cleared North of Quesnel

PRINCE GEORGE – Latest Update: DriveBC says the highway is now cleared. 

Update: DriveBC says the highway is open to one lane of alternating traffic, north of Quesnel. 

Earlier: A vehicle incident, 11 kilometres north of Quesnel, has forced the closure of Highway 97 in both directions. The incident occurred at Pollard Road. 

DriveBC says there is no estimated time of when the highway will be opened.

There is also no detour available.
