Cariboo Cats Ready For Mac’s

It’s been four years now since the Cariboo Cougars won one of the biggest midget hockey tournaments in the country, and their chance to do it again is almost here. The 41st Annual Mac’s Tournament in Calgary gets underway Boxing Day and the second-best team in BCMML is on their way Christmas Day. In 2016, the team cracked the semifinals before losing to the eventual champions in the U17 Belarus National team. Last year, they failed to make it to the playoff stage. That’s obviously a mark they’re looking to improve upon when them and 24 other teams from around the world converge on Calgary after Christmas for the 5-pool round robin event.
