PRINCE GEORGE – It was not the way the Prince George Spruce Kings wanted to start a three-game road trip after the holiday break.
The Kings fell 2 -1 to the Merritt Centennials in a shoot-out, with Matthew Kopperud scoring the winning goal.
Prince George continues its road swing Saturday against Cowichan Valley.
