Highway 97 Reopened In Quesnel Following Vehicle Incident

QUESNEL — Latest: DriveBC says the road is all clear between Racing Road and North Star Road. 

Update:  A detour is now available for light traffic only via Western Plywood Maple Drive.

Drive BC says the detour route is limited to 10 tonnes. The road is estimated to reopen by 3 p.m. today.

Earlier: Road alert: a vehicle incident has closed Highway 97 in both directions in Quesnel.

Drive BC says the incident occurred between Racing Road and North Star Road.
