Vehicle incident closes Highway 97 north of Pine Pass

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: The road is now open to single lane alternating traffic. Drive BC estimates the highway will fully reopen by early this afternoon.

Earlier: Take note if you’re heading north of the Pine Pass today.

Drive BC says a vehicle incident between Powder King Road and Old Hasler Road (34 km north of Pine Pass Summit) has closed Highway 97 North in both directions.
