VICTORIA — The BC NDP’s have delivered their second budget.

Finance Minister Carole James rose in the Legislature to deliver Budget 2019.

She says the government will build on some of the commitments set out last year, such as the elimination of MSP Premiums. She says the economy of the province is thriving and will run surpluses in the next three years.

But, to launch the budget for the coming fiscal year, James announced the creation of the BC Child Opportunity Benefit Fund to help parents raise their children in a healthy environment.
