The Kings will not be able to pass Chilliwack in the league standings but that is not stopping them from wanting to go into playoffs on a high note. The Kings outshot the Chiefs 47-14 on the night including 19-3 in the third period alone.

The Kings got out to a quick 2-0 lead with goals by Lucas Vanroboys and Ben Brar.

The Chiefs were not gonna go away easily as Jacques Bouquot and Cade Cavallini scored the only goals in the second period before Colton Kitchen put Chilliwack in front early in the third. That’s when the Kings woke up and scored three unanswered goals by Ben Poisson, Ben Brar and Dylan Anhorn to seal the game for the Kings.

Ben Poisson led the Kings with a goal and two assists while Alexander Marrocco had two assists to lead the Chiefs offensively. Logan Neaton got the win for the Kings stopping 11 of 14 shots he faced while Nolan Hildebrand took the loss stopping 42 of 47 shots.
