PRINCE GEORGE — Don’t pack away those snowblowers and shovels quite yet.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George and surrounding areas with about 10 centimetres of the white stuff expected to fall today.

“A frontal system will track across the central interior today bringing snow to Prince George, Yellowhead, McGregor, Williston including Highway 97 – Pine Pass and eastern sections of Bulkley Valley and the Lakes region including Fort St James,” says the national forecaster.

The snow is expected to ease tonight and sunshine is expected to return tomorrow and Wednesday.
