UPDATE: Power restored to 5000 customers in the Hart

PRINCE GEORGE- Update: Power has been restored in the Hart.

BC Hydro Spokesperson Bob Gammer says it appears birds were to blame.

Earlier: BC Hydro says more than 5100 customers in the Hart are without power this hour. It went down shortly before 10 this morning. Crews have been assigned to the outage though the cause is yet to be determined.
