Cariboo Cougars Play Quarterfinal Matchup

Almost identical to the Spruce Kings, the Cariboo Cougars finished their BC Major Midget League season second in the league one point behind Fraser Valley. The Cougars will now start their playoff quarterfinal matchup tonight at home. Last year the Cougars made it to the finals against the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds where they ended up being beaten two games to none. They will look to get back to the championship and win it this time around as they try to knock off the Greater Vancouver Canadians in the first round. The Cougars were the least penalized team in the league this year with 603 penalty minutes.
