PRINCE GEORGE – The Spruce Kings and Chilliwack Chiefs were going to meet in the playoffs this year and through two games of their second-round series, it has been all Kings so far.

Prince George was on the road to open the series against the league’s best team Friday and Saturday and both games went in the Kings favour.

The Kings dominated game one taking it 7-0. Game two was a closer affair but they were still able to squeeze out a 3-2 win.

The two teams battled all throughout the regular season and while Chilliwack has been the much higher scoring team, the Kings’ defence has been the stingier of the two, giving up 49 less goals than the Chiefs.
