PRINCE GEORGE-  It was a sold-out crowd for the Spruce Kings last night in the first game of the Fred Page Cup Final series. After a scoreless first period the Spruce Kings, Lucas Vanroboys, opened up scoring early in the second. The Vernon Vipers would reply with one halfway through the third but two Kings goals after that, including an empty netter in the last minute of play, would make the score 3-1 for the Kings. Fan-favourite, Logan Neaton, made 23 shots on the night and was named the first star of the game. The teams will return to the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena tonight for Game 2 at 7.
